Texas Instruments TCAN4420 CAN Transceivers

Texas Instruments TCAN4420 CAN Transceivers with Polarity Control allow the CAN bus polarity to be controlled externally by a microcontroller through the SW pin. The device meets the specifications of the ISO 11898-2 (2016) physical layer standard requirements. The TCAN4420 supports 2.8V to 5V MCUs and I/Os through the VIO pin. The CAN transceivers offer many protection features, including HBM ESD up to ±12kV, under voltage on VCC and VIO supplies, TXD dominant time out, and thermal shutdown. These features provide robustness to the device and CAN network.
