Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPM3860 Switching Voltage Regulators

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPM3860 Switching Voltage Regulators are 1.2MHz, synchronous regulators. These regulators offer a compact solution to achieve 6A of continuous output current over a wide input range, with excellent load and line regulation. The MPM3860 regulators meet synchronous mode operation for high efficiency over the output current load range. These regulators feature Constant-on-Time (COT) control operation that provides a very fast transient response, easy loop design, and very tight output regulation. Full protection features include Short-Circuit Protection (SCP), Over-Current Protection (OCP), Under-Voltage Protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown.

The MPM3860 regulators require a minimal number of standard external components and are available in a space-saving QFN-24 (4mm x 6mm) package. Applications include FPGA power systems, optical modules, telecom, networking, and industrial equipment.
