STMicroelectronics L9958 H-Bridge DC-Motor Drivers
STMicroelectronics L9958 H-bridge DC-motor drivers are SPI-controlled devices designed for the control of DC and stepper motors in safety-critical applications and under extreme environmental conditions. STMicroelectronics L9958 H-Bridge DC-motor drivers are protected against over temperature and short circuits. And they have an under-voltage lockout for all the supply voltages VS and VDD and for overvoltage on VDD. All malfunctions cause the output stages to go tristate. The L9958 features a programmable current regulation peak threshold by SPI up to 8.6A typical. The operating battery supply voltage of these STMicroelectronics motor drivers is 4.0V to 28V while the operating VDD supply voltage is 4.5V to 5.5V. These H-bridge drivers are available in three power packages: PowerSO-20, PowerSO-16, and PowerSSO-24.Features
